Statement from Ontario NDP on upcoming campaign events

“Andrea’s greatest strength is meeting people and connecting with them where they’re at. She listens, she cares, and it shows. We’re really disappointed that we’re going to lose that for a few days.

That said, we have always had contingency plans for this campaign, knowing that COVID is still among us. So many people have had to make adjustments to their lives throughout this pandemic, and so will our campaign. We’ll be able to pivot to Zoom events, as well as tapping into the strength of our amazing, diverse candidate team.

This morning, Andrea will be on Zoom instead of in person as we talk about good jobs that actually pay the bills in Sault Ste. Marie.

We’ll keep Ontario updated on how Andrea will connect with folks while staying safely apart for the next few days.”
