Amanda Robertson nominated to be the Ontario NDP candidate in Bay of Quinte

BELLEVILLE - New Democrats in Bay of Quinte chose local school board trustee Amanda Robertson as the Ontario NDP candidate for the next provincial election.

“Our community deserves a government that works as hard as they do, one that is focused on delivering health care we can rely on, building homes we can afford, and schools that set our kids up for success,” said Robertson. “I am running to take our community’s voice to Queen’s Park. With the Ontario NDP and Marit Stiles as our next Premier, I know that the people of Bay of Quinte will have a government that’s fighting for them.”

“Amanda has been a champion for our schools, local health care that Bay of Quinte can rely on, and building strong and resilient communities across the province,” said Marit Stiles, Ontario NDP leader. “It’s time for a government at Queen’s Park that puts people first, builds homes, hires doctors, fixes schools, and makes life more affordable. I’m proud to have Amanda as a part of our Ontario NDP team as we fight to deliver a better, brighter future for the people of Ontario!”
